‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ is Being Remade

Date:

‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ is being remade into another movie.

Sony is producing a reboot of the ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer‘ franchise. Producers are reimagining of the first film and it’s likely that a sequel will happen if the box office numbers do really well.

I Know What You Did Last Summer centers on four friends who are being stalked by a killer, one year after covering up a car accident in which they were involved. The film was directed by Jim Gillespie, from a screenplay written by Kevin Williamson, writer of Scream.

The movie is being written by Mike Flanagan and Jeff Howard and being produced by Neal Moritz, who also is producing the Fast and the Furious franchise also produced the original ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ in 1997.

It would be amazing to see Jennifer Love Hewitt have a cameo appearance in the movie. Perhaps, this time she will be the killer?
