Liam Neeson joins the cast and crew of ‘Ted 2’.
Liam Neeson and Seth MacFarlane are reunited once again for the upcoming feature film, ‘Ted 2’. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Liam Neeson will join the cast of the upcoming comedy sequel Ted 2.
MacFarlane confirmed Wednesday on Twitter. MacFarlane is returning to helm, co-write the script and voice the ribald title character.
In his tweet, MacFarlane noted that both Neeson and recently confirmed cast member Morgan Freeman had been on the set to film this week.
Neeson will join Seth MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg, and Morgan Freeman.
Ted, released in June 2012, grossed $549.4 million worldwide.
Filming is currently taking place in Boston, Massachusetts and will be moving to New York City. Casting directors are holding an open casting call for actors, models, and talent to appear in the movie.
Ted 2 stars Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried. Universal releases the film June 26, 2015.
