New Orleans, Louisiana Casting Call – ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’ casting call for extras to work on the new ABC TV series.
Based on the based on Lily Koppel’s best-selling novel, ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’ tells the real story of the women who stood beside some of the biggest heroes in American history during the height of the space race.
Casting directors are looking for extras to work on The Astronaut Wives Club in New Orleans, Louisiana. Producers are looking for Caucasian men and women to play beach goers watching a Shuttle launch and neighborhood scene. In addition, casting directors are looking for African American men to play restaurant patrons on Monday, October 27th. Casting directors are also looking for beautiful model types to appear in the TV series.

1) 21-55 year old Caucasian looking Men & Women to play Beach Goers watching a Shuttle Launch. This WORKS on Monday 10/27 and you must also be available for a FITTING on Monday 10/20 or Tuesday 10/21 in Kenner.
2) 50-70 year old African American looking Men to play Restaurant Patrons. This WORKS on Monday 10/27 and you must also be available for a FITTING on Monday 10/20 or Tuesday 10/21 in Kenner.
3) Beautiful Model-type Women
– Should appear to be 18-35 years old & Caucasian with great bodies
– Must be okay wearing 1960’s style Bikini’s and potentially being in the water on ocassion
– Rate: $200
– Initial Work Date(s): Monday 10/27 and/or Friday 10/31. Many more dates TBD on future episodes as well. Will be working in New Orleans & Slidell.
– Must be available for a fitting between 10/21-10/24 in Kenner
– Must have natural colored hair with no highlights and be willing to cut it to be 2? below your shoulders or shorter
– NO TATTOOS
– Submit close shoulders & up photos along with full body shots, your name, sizes and contact info
4) 18-80 year old Caucasian looking Men & Women to be part of our Neighborhood BG. This WORKS on Wednesday 10/29 and you must also be available for a FITTING on Wednesday 10/22, Thursday 10/23 or Friday 10/24 in Kenner.
