UPDATE #2: Honey Boo Boo Mom’s Boyfriend molested her daughter Anna.
Right when the story could not get any worse, TMZ reveals Honey Boo Boo’s mother June Shannon is dating a convicted child molester who forced oral sex on her daughter Anna 10 years ago.
According to TMZ:
Sources tell TMZ … Anna Cardwell — who is now 20 and married with a child — believed her mom earlier today that she was not dating the man who molested her. But we’re told Anna has now received a lot more info, and is now convinced June betrayed her by seeing McDaniel again.
Anna wants it known she’s the victim because it makes what her mom is doing all the more egregious.
We’re also told TLC reached out to Anna today to offer her counseling.
It is reported that Anna’s relationship with her mother has been destroyed and the only way June can see her grand daughter is if McDaniel is nowhere to be seen.
UPDATE: Honey Boo Boo Canceled
TLC has cancelled “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” after details surfaced on Thursday claiming June Shannon (Mama June) was dating a convicted child molester.
Shannon took to Facebook to address the show’s cancellation
“Just got a phone call this morning from TLC, and as of right now there will be no more production of the show,” she said in the clip.
Shannon also denied claims she was dating Mark McDaniel, a sex offender who was recently released from jail.
“The statement of me dating a sex offender is totally untrue,” she said.
McDaniel, who is in his early 50s, was convicted on May 20, 2004 of aggravated child molestation. He registered as a sex offender in March 2014. Shannon wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday that she dated and dumped McDaniel 10 years ago.
“I would not ever ever ever put my kids in danger,” she said in the video scene below:
Mama June from ‘Honey Boo Boo’ is now dating someone who molester one of her family members.
Following Mama June and Sugar Bear’s break up, Mam June has now found a new boyfriend and he’s pretty disgusting.
The new guy is 53-year-old Mark McDaniel. He was convicted in 2004 for aggravated child molestation. Prosecutors say he molested an 8-year-old child — forcing oral sex. June was dating McDaniel at the same time he molested the child. (Via)
TMZ has refused to reveal the identity of the child but, they claim it’s “someone with whom June has contact.” Either this is a horrible marketing stunt or Mama June has a bad taste in men.
