Over 86,000 people applied for only 600 ‘Game of Thrones’ Extra Roles in Spain
Filming for Season 5 of Game of Thrones has been ongoing for the last few weeks in various parts of Spain. Many locals, fans, and actors have been trying to get their name called to join the cast and crew of the hit TV series.

We reported a casting call for approximately 600 extras earlier this month and according to Entertainment Weekly the response was overwhelming. Over 86,000 actors, models, and fans submitted applications, which was way more than the casting company could handle.
According to reports, all of the hotel rooms in Osuna, Spain have been booked through the end of October, and the tourism center has even extended its hours to accommodate the show’s fans who traveled with the hopes of joining the cast of Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones is currently filming in Osuna, Spain to film a large-scale fighting scene.
