Keanu Reeves is Making a Comeback! ‘John Wick’ Beats Box Office Expectations

Many people thought Keanu Reeves’ new movie was going to be a major flop in the box office. Besides, his last feature filmĀ 47 RoninĀ did horrible and the actor has not had many major acting roles in the last few years. But, the new John Wick movie has shown the world that people still love Keanu Reeves.

According to reports, John Wick only cost just $5 million dollars to make and made nearly $20 million in less than 3,000 movie theaters thus, making it last weekend’s biggest movie release.

It was only predicted that John Wick was going to make between $7 to 8 million but, after extremely positive reviews it became a popular movie in several movie theaters.

John Wick centers around a hitman who wants to avenge the death of his puppy. Weeks prior to the movie’s release the Keanu Reeves revealed that he doesn’t get offered big roles anymore.Ā ā€œI always wanted to play Wolverine,ā€ Reeves said. ā€œBut I didnā€™t get that. And they have a great Wolverine now.ā€Ā ā€œI always wanted to play The Dark Knight,ā€ the actor continued. ā€œBut I didnā€™t get that one. Theyā€™ve had some greatĀ Batmans. So now Iā€™m just enjoying them as an audience.ā€

After Keanu Reeves most recent revelations it is hard not to feel good for the actor when things work out for him. Hollywood is a tough business that measures success based on data and not on how well an actor does their job, or even how good the film is.
