According to TMZ, Sandra Bullock assisted an extra on her current movie, ‘Our Brand is Crisis‘ when the background actor collapsed during filming. It was apparent that the extra passed out due to a heat stroke while working in the blazing New Orleans hot sun.
Sandra Bullock took charge giving the background extra water and fanning her in a shady place until an ambulance arrived and took the woman to a nearby hospital.

Billy Bob Thornton was there but was mostly watching Sandra Bullock save the background extra’s life. The reason why the background extra collapsed? Well producers required the extras to wear warm clothes and heavy coats. But, in the hot New Orleans sun the heat becomes unbearable and ultimately unsafe.

The incident occurred on Sunday and filming was cancelled the following day. But, everyone reported back on Tuesday.
