NBC Cancels ‘A to Z’ and ‘Bad Judge’

NBC cancels A to Z and Bad Judge.

After several rounds of poor ratings, NBC has pulled the plug on the two freshman comedies A to Z and Bad Judge. However, the TV series will not be pulled from the schedule. Instead, both shows will continue to air their 13-episode orders.

According to Deadline, the legal comedy Bad Judge starring Kate Walsh had really bad ratings. But, the romantic comedy A to Z had even worse ratings.

NBC plans on replacing the time slot with critically acclaimed TV series, Blacklist following the Super Bowl.

A to Z Canceled

Not too many people enjoyed Bad Judge. The TV series waso outrageous that the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers sent a letter to NBC, demanding that Bad Judge be canceled because the show illustrates a “female judge as unethical, lazy, crude, hyper-sexualized, and unfit to hold such an esteemed position of power”. I guess their wish came true.

A to Z and Bad Judge are the second and third TV series to be canceled this fall, joining ABC’s Manhattan Love Story. FOX has also shortened the number of episodes of the freshman comedy series, Mulaney.

According to these reports, audiences are no longer interested in comedies. But, what show do you think will get canceled next?
