Richmond, Virginia Casting Call – AMC’s ‘TURN: Washington’s Spies’ is now casting speaking roles for Season 2 episode 7.
AMC’s television series TURN: WASHINGTON’S SPIES is filming in the Central Virginia area, and Arvold Casting is seeking actors who look authentically from the Revolutionary War period for speaking roles. TURN is adapted from the nonfiction book Washington’s Spies by Alexander Rose. The story is centered on a band of young soldiers and civilians who were part of the secret spy ring during the Revolutionary War.
All principal (speaking) roles are either local hires (within 60 miles of Richmond, VA) or modified local hires (within 500 miles of Richmond, VA). In general, modified local hire means mileage reimbursement, lodging provided and per diem on work days only.
Seeking the following speaking roles for episode 207:
[SENTRY] 20s – 30s, Male, Caucasian. A British soldier who is nonplussed by the nervous state of a colonial civilian. Authentic British accent required. [CO-STAR]
[RANGER] 30s – 40s, Male, Caucasian. A rough-looking Queen’s Ranger who tries to steal a kiss from a high society lady. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations. [CO-STAR]
