The upcoming Bolden movie is looking for African American models and actors in Wilmington, North Carolina.
‘Bolden’ is the passion project of Hyatt Hotels heir and writer/director Dan Pritzker, who has reportedly funneled millions into the film. ‘Bolden’ centers on a mythical account of the life of Buddy Bolden, the first Cornet King of New Orleans. According to IMDB, Bolden! features Jackie Earle Haley, Omari Hardwick, and Michael Rooker.
Casting directors are looking for very light skinned African American women or mixed women who can pull off the Creole look and are between 18 to their late 20s to work on the upcoming feature film. Filming will take place on December 4th and December 8th. But, talents must be available for a fitting scheduled for this Monday, December 1st.
The scenes are from 1906, so talents must look natural to that time period.

BOLDEN: We need to book some VERY LIGHT SKINNED AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN, or MIXED WOMEN (who can pull off the Creole look), who are between the ages of 18 – late 20s, who are a dress size 4, 6, or 8, for a fitting this Monday, Dec 1st, and the filming dates of Dec 4th and Dec 8th.
These scenes are from 1906, so we’ll need to make sure you can look natural to that time period (no big tattoos: our makeup dept will cover small ones for you, no hair highlights, pointy nail, gels, nor braces).
This films local to the Wilmington, N.C. area.
Pay rate: $112.00 per day + a $30.00 wardrobe/hair bump for your fitting on Monday.
