Brothers in Atlanta will feature, Maya Rudolph, she will play Shirle, Moose’s demanding boss who is a pop star whose heyday was twenty years ago. While Jaden Smith is set to play Curtis, a “New Atlanta” teenager who is Langston’s neighbor with unpredictable interests and suspicious income. This will be Jaden Smith’s largest TV commitment since 2006.

Langston plays an Atlanta native who is an aspiring DJ but, his career is largely stalled because of his lack of focus and get-rich schemes. While Moose is an Atlanta newbie and is known for being a backup singer with dreams of becoming a star but, constantly runs into trouble.

Filming for Brothers in Atlanta, previously known as “Bashir and Diallo” is expected to start filming this spring. We previously posted casting calls for the series in September of 2013 and CL Casting was the previous extras casting director for the series. So, expect the casting company to hire background actors, stand-ins and photo doubles in the next couple of months.
