Samuel L. Jackson Reveals He Has Only “Two More” Marvel Movies Left

Date:

Samuel L. Jackson reveals he only has two more movies left on his Marvel contract. Could this be the end of Nick Fury as we know it?

Talking to IGN, Samuel L. Jackson said that he could see the day where he stops acting in Marvel movies. Samuel L. Jackson was signed to a nine picture deal starting in the 2008 feature film, Iron Man. Since then he has appeared in Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and this summer’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Samuel L. Jackson told IGN that “I only got two more movies in my contract. That might be the end of it, unless I get an extension.” Jackson also pointed out that he he hopes his contract gets extended. However, it is unclear at what point Nick Fury will be killed off or replaced. Most recently, fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe cast member, Idris Elba, said he is sick of working on Marvel movies since it is nothing but green screens and CGI, not real acting.
