Liam Neeson Says He’s Quitting Action Movies in Two Years.
Liam Neeson says he’s quitting action movies in two years. According to reports, the 62-year-old actor, who has been in nearly every major action movie in the past five years, gave a surprising response when asked if he wanted to do more action movies.
“Maybe two more years — if God spares me, and I’m healthy,” Neeson replied, according to The Guardian. “But after that, I’ll stop [the action], I think.”
This is a big change for an actor who has become James Bond’s older brother in the last few years. Earlier this year, he reprised his break out role in Taken 3, and he can be seen in the action movie, Run All Night which opens on Friday.
Liam Neeson will appear in the upcoming comedy ‘Ted 2’ and Martin Scorsese’s new movie ‘Silence’.
