IO Browne

IO Browne – a graduate from Morgan State University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts is a gifted singer, poet and theatrical performer. Browne, a former Theatre Arts educator at ConneXions School for the Arts, has performed in several stage productions including the The Color Purple, Charlotte’s Web, The Wiz, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hoodoo Love, The Vagina Monologues, For Colored Girls who Have Considered Suicide/ wen the Rainbow is Enuf, Dreamgirls and many more. Alongside theatre, her experience in commercial includes work with AARP, MASN Network, Toyota, and Kaiser Permanente. Browne has performed at several venues as a spoken word artist and aspires to reveal to viewers a mirror reflection of life through the use of the Arts. Her motto: “In order to change your life, you must change your point of view.”
