Welk Resort Theatere’s production of Million Dollar Quartet in Branson, Missouri Open Casting Call
Simon Casting, the casting director behind ‘EMPIRE’ is looking for male actors to work on the Welk Resort Theatere’s production of Million Dollar Quartet in Branson, Missouri. The theater production starts on June 25th and will continue for December 31st. Talents that are selected will be compensated $250/show and travel and housing will be the actors responsibility.

‘Million Dollar Quartet’ Casting Call
Attention Rockstars! We are still looking for the male roles for Welk Resort Theatre’s production of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET.
This is non-union.
Start Date: June 25th – opening – December 31st (rehearsal 25 days prior to opening.)
Pay Rate: $250 per show/131 shows in 2015 avg is 5 shows a week.Rehearsal-1/2 pay. Travel and housing are the actors responsibility. (Housing is very cheap in Branson).
Location: Branson, MO
[ELVIS PRESLEY] – male, age 21- must play guitar and sing INCREDIBLY WELL. Looking for an excellent singer and musician, who can embody the character of the King Of Rock and Roll. Do not submit unless excellent on Guitar.
[JERRY LEE LEWIS-] male, age 20- must have EXCELLENT honky tonk/rock and roll piano skills, VERY strong vocals, and be able to play a brash, young Southern musician. Do not submit unless you have these skills. .
[CARL PERKINS] – male, age 26- excellent lead guitar skills a must and strong vocal skills. One of the architects of rock and roll guitar. Must have understanding of early rock and roll guitar music.
[JOHNNY CASH] – male, age 26 — must play guitar and sing. A giant of American Music at the beginning of his career. Fluke- male, mid twenties- drummer. Early rock and roots music influences important.
