Tom Cruise’s ‘Jack Reacher’ is now in development and will start filming in November.
Jack Reacher 2 will start filming this November and will hit theaters by late 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
‘Jack Reacher’ was written Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) and starred Tom Cruise (Edge of Tomorrow). ‘Jack Reacher’ struggled in the box office with
$80.1M grossed, but overseas it flourished with $138.3M.
Tom Cruise will reprise his role as a drifer and former U.S. Army Military Police Corps officer, but this time he will be directed by Ed Zwick, who directed Cruise in 2003’s The Last Samurai.
Jack Reacher films are based on the popular book series written by British author Lee Childs.
Jack Reacher 2 is expected in theaters in late 2016.
