LeBron James reveals he is still interested in doing a ‘Space Jam 2’ movie.
After years of online speculation, the basketball player-turned-actor, LeBron James, spoke on a potential sequel to the 1996 ‘Space Jam’ movie starring Michael Jordan.
LeBron James really wants to do another ‘Space Jam’ movie.
When Today asked him his thoughts about a sequel to the 1996 feature film starring Michael Jordan, Burgs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird and Bill Murray – James said, after weeks of rumors, “We hope so. We’re definitely missing Bugs and Daffy and Tasmanian Devil and every last one of them, so hopefully we can do some great things.”
Rumors for the sequel started when the NBA superstar and his company SpringHill Entertainment signed a deal with Warner Bros. Entertainment spanning all areas of content creation. Since Warner Bros. originally released Space Jam, the idea of a follow-up began to circulate online.
After shooting comedic scenes in Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck, James wants to continue making movies. “It’s a passion of mine. Everything I do, I have a passion about it. If we could continue it, I know I don’t have to dribble a basketball and fly through the air to do those type of things.”
