Amber Gary

Amber is a bright and joyful 13-year-old actress and performer who has loved being on stage since she was young. She has been playing violin since the age of four and singing since she was five, developing a strong musical foundation alongside her growing passion for acting. Amber is trained through an acting program where she learns from working industry professionals including Tracey Gold, best known for Growing Pains; Marina Anderson, best known Dexter; William "Skip" Clark, whose credits include BET’s Just Kickin’ It; and Karen Furno, whose film, television, and theater credits include Christmas with the Kranks, and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Her private vocal coach is a NYC based actress, singer, and dancer known for her performances in the Wicked tour and the First National Tour of Hello Dolly. Her Suzuki violin instructor lives locally and is classically trained under the Suzuki Method. Through her coaching, Amber continues to develop skills in acting, improvisation, musical performance, voice, and stagecraft. She is eager to learn, receptive to direction, and enthusiastic about taking on new challenges. Amber has performed in several school theatrical productions and school choir, a professional choral ensemble, and also placed in a vocal competition. Naturally drawn to slapstick and physical comedy, Amber has a gift for finding humor in the unexpected. But she can also be emotionally expressive, with a kind of restraint that is beyond her 13 years, bringing authenticity and unanticipated perspective to every performance. Outside of performing, Amber enjoys spending time with her parents and golden retriever, Daisy, swimming, biking, hanging out with her friends and being involved in her church as rotating lead vocalist for Kid and Student Life ministries. Whether she’s performing on stage or on camera, Amber brings curiosity, energy, and joy to everything she does.
