Job Description
A non-union commercial and brand launch spot titled “The Symphony” is seeking featured speaking talent and background performers in West Hollywood, California. The production is casting multiple roles for a single-day shoot, including a client, massage therapist, hair stylist, and salon background talent.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform assigned speaking or featured actions according to the role.
- Follow on-camera direction from the production team.
- Participate in salon, massage, client, or background scenes as assigned.
- Work professionally with cast and crew throughout the production.
Requirements
- Sarah – Client: Woman presenting, mid-20s to mid-40s; featured speaking role involving a one-phone-call scene and walking down exterior patio steps while carrying a small pet carrier.
- Steven – Massage Therapist: Male presenting or non-binary, mid-20s to mid-30s; featured speaking role involving a short greeting and brief interaction with a tablet/device.
- Jess – Hair Stylist: Woman presenting, mid-20s to mid-40s; featured speaking role involving a phone/text notification while actively styling a client’s hair. Hair styling experience is a bonus.
- Salon Background Talent: Multiple performers needed to portray clients and additional salon staff in a busy working salon environment with no dialogue.
- Must be able to work in West Hollywood, California.
Compensation
- $220–$300 buyout fee, depending on role.
