“Cha Cha” Casting Call
Job Description
Thorns and Roses Productions, a team of 4th-year film students from De La Salle University–Manila, is casting the lead and supporting roles for their thesis film CHA AND CHO. The story follows Cha, a young girl with chromesthesia, as she teams up with her grandfather Cho to prepare for a school talent show, while a long-buried family conflict resurfaces.
Job Responsibilities
- Bring one of four open roles to life on camera
- Sing and play guitar where the role requires it
- Collaborate with the student production team on set
Requirements
- Cha: female, age 11; must sing and play basic guitar
- Lolo Cho: male, 60s; must sing and play acoustic guitar
- Belinda: female, late 30s
- Line: female, age 11
- Submit full name, age, set card, portfolio and acting reel
Compensation
- Student-friendly fee
- Meals and transportation provided
