Supernatural star Misha Collins was reportedly the victim of a mugging.
According to reports, the actor was allegedly beaten and robbed on Friday in Minneapolis, where he was scheduled to attend a convention over the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, Collins reassured his Twitter followers that he only suffered a “minor scrape”
“Hey guys! Thanks for all the well-wishes! Just want u to know I’ve just got some minor scrapes. I’m totally fine! Love u guys,” he tweeted.
Supernatural actor Osric Chau confirmed that something bad had happened to Collins with a post to Twitter.
“You know what would really cheer @mishacollins up? If Random Acts took first place. I vote for @RandomActsOrg to #UpgradeYourWorld #Vote,” Chau, who played Kevin on The CW series, tweeted, referencing Collins’ charity.
Being the great guy that he his, Collins still made an appearance at the fan convention, taking photos and signing autographs for fans, according to the attendees at the event.
Supernatural is filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia was in development for nearly ten years, as creator Kripke spent several years unsuccessfully pitching it. The pilot was viewed by an estimated 5.69 million viewers, when it first aired. The series has been renewed for an eleventh season and follows the two brothers as they hunt demons, ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural beings in the world.
