Black Girls In Media is hiring a social media intern for academic credit. Aimed at students studying communications, journalism, PR, or marketing, this remote internship offers hands-on experience running social for a national media brand, plus direct mentorship from the founder.

Job Responsibilities

• Help shape content strategy for social channels
• Write captions and create social content
• Track performance and report what is working
• Join mentorship sessions with the founder

Requirements

• Student studying communications, journalism, PR, or marketing
• Must be able to receive academic credit through your school
• Available 5-8 hours per week
• Passion for media and storytelling

Compensation

• Unpaid, for-academic-credit internship
• Portfolio experience and mentorship included
