I am an actor and model with professional training in acting and a background in filmmaking and mass communication. I hold a Master’s degree in Acting from Whistling Woods International and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Filmmaking from The Heritage College, Kolkata. I have around five years of experience across theatre and film, including two years of intensive theatre work with multiple theatre groups. My theatre journey has also included exposure to Delhi’s theatre circuit, with opportunities to work and learn with groups and spaces associated with NSD and LTG. I have worked in over 30 short films and have also been part of advertisements and branded projects. Some of my short-film work includes Ittu Si Baat, Gumsumm and Viyog, which have received recognition at short-film festivals across India. One of my projects also secured first place at the SRFTI 50 Hours Film Making Challenge. Alongside acting, I have worked as a model for brands and campaigns including Pringles, Apex Jewellery and PHAB India. My background in filmmaking has also given me experience behind the camera, including directing, shooting and editing my own work using Adobe Premiere Pro. As an actor, I enjoy exploring different characters and genres, from realistic drama and romance to comedy, thriller and more layered, character-driven roles. I am interested in working across films, web series, television, advertising and theatre, and I am always looking for opportunities that challenge me as a performer and allow me to tell meaningful stories.
