MTV VMA: Here’s What Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress Looks Like Now

Date:

After Miley Cyrus shocked the world last Sunday with revealing outfits, a nip slip, and off the wall comments, Lady Gaga’s meat dress from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards doesn’t look so bad.

The dress designed by Franc Fernandez is still quite a shocker. The fashion designer designed a dress and shows completely made out of raw meat.

While Gaga is still the owner of one of her most famous outfits, she gave it to the traveling “Women Who Rock” exhibition from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The dress will be displayed for several months in Cleveland, Ohio.

The director of the collections, Jun Francisco, explained to MTV that because it is made of such a unique material, the dress was preserved like beef jerky and has to be transported in a climate-controlled truck. “So it’s taxidermied,” said Francisco. Now you know.
