An independent 15-minute comedy thriller is looking for a Music Composer to create music for a film currently in post-production. With color grading nearly complete, the project is moving toward its final stages and is planned for submission to several major film festivals. The composer will help strengthen the film’s comedy-thriller atmosphere through an original and story-driven musical approach.
Job Responsibilities
- Compose original music that supports the film’s tone and storytelling.
- Develop musical ideas in collaboration with the filmmaker.
- Create cues that complement both comedic and suspenseful moments.
- Revise compositions based on creative feedback.
- Deliver finalized music suitable for the film’s completed mix.
Requirements
- Experience composing music for film, video, or other narrative projects.
- Strong understanding of mood, pacing, and cinematic storytelling.
- Ability to work collaboratively and incorporate feedback.
- Access to appropriate music production tools.
Compensation
- Volunteer/unpaid position.
