About:
ADAM KILGORE Caucasian Male. 6’1”, 250 lbs. (looks like a former college fullback from the ’90’s). 56 years old. Strong speaking voice and versatile style. Filming Schedule consideration: I teach a law school class in Jackson each Wednesday from 5-7 (an hour and a half away from Greenwood) that I cannot miss. I also host a radio program on Mississippi Public Broadcasting each Thursday from 3-4 pm and can do that remote or possibly take a show off. Happy to be a part of this important production if given the opportunity. _______________________________________________________________________ BIOGRAPHY Adam Kilgore is an attorney, broadcaster and educator from Jackson, Mississippi and currently based in Greenwood, Mississippi. A lifelong supporter of the arts, Kilgore has returned to performance and theatre in recent years, bringing to the stage the same interest in people, communication, and storytelling that has shaped his professional career. Most recently, Kilgore appeared as the Apostle Thomas in An Easter Tale by John Maxwell. He remains active in the Greenwood theatre community and will move behind the scenes as a director at Little Greenwood Theatre in February 2027, continuing to expand his work in both performance and theatrical production. Kilgore also appeared in plays in high school and college. Kilgore has significant experience in broadcasting and public speaking and currently serves as the Expert Host of In Legal Terms, Mississippi Public Broadcasting’s live weekly radio program and podcast exploring the law and how it affects everyday life. His work on the program combines interviewing, storytelling, public education, and live broadcasting. In 2026, In Legal Terms was awarded Second Place for the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters’ Talk Show of the Year. Away from the stage and microphone, Kilgore is a longtime Mississippi attorney and former General Counsel of The Mississippi Bar where he handled ethics and attorney discipline. He is also an adjunct professor at Mississippi College School of Law, where he teaches Alternative Dispute Resolution. He earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi College in Business Administration with a concentration in Communication before earning his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Whether acting, directing, teaching, or broadcasting, Kilgore’s work is grounded in a fascination with people—their stories, conflicts, humor, motivations, and connections—and in the belief that good communication and good storytelling often begin in the same place: understanding the person on the other side.
