Haohao Chen

Based in Toronto, ON, Haohao brings a range of practical skills and experience to each project. Skilled in analytical and critical thinking, academic and creative writing, drawing, and editing, as well as teaching, skating, and singing, they hope to apply these skills to different artistic and creative projects in the film/tv/entertainment industry. Having spent the last two years completing their master of arts in social justice education (specifically researching critical theory and film, media, and cultural studies for their thesis), Haohao is now interested in finding background/assistant roles in sets across the GTA. They wish to gain more hands-on experience in various aspects of the entertainment industry, beginning with entry positions like background acting or production and script assistants. Their background as a research assistant, magazine and journal writer/editor, and creative project leader supports a well-rounded approach to new challenges and tasks, making Haohao adaptable across different project settings.
