Maria Lewis

Maria K. Lewis is an Actress, Writer, Director and Film & Television Producer. She is the CEO/Founder of The Sizzleisland Company Limited: the parent company of Sizzleisland Drama. Maria holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film with Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of Kent (United Kingdom); as well as a Master's Degree in Feature Film Screenwriting from Royal Holloway, University of London. As an actor, Maria has performed in numerous productions in leading theatre stages across Trinidad and Tobago. As a member of The Marionettes Chorale, Maria was also among those who performed at Carnegie Hall, New York City, as part of Grammy-award winning Christopher Tin’s recital of Calling All Dawns (2019). As a writer, filmmaker, actress and editor, Maria has created and produced the six-episode series, Analeigh (aired on TTT: 2020 and 2021); as well as the feature length (pandemic) film Our Year (2021).
