X-Men Director to Direct ‘20,000 Leagues Under The Sea’ Movie

‘X-Men’ director reveals his new movie, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea via Instagram.

After he’s finished bringing Apocalypse to Fox’s X-Men franchise, director Bryan Singer is heading underwater for his next movie.

Bryan Singer revealed the news via Instagram that he’s working on a new adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic novel 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. 

Describing the story as “an adventure very dear to my heart” and “a story I’ve wanted to retell since childhood,” Singer promised fans that the new feature will be “an epic and emotional adventure for all ages!”

It’s unclear whether or not Bryan Singer will direct the new movie, nor whether this version will replace one of the two competing other movie adaptations that have been in the works for the last couple of years but, Singer announced that he will not be abandoning the X-men universe.”
