An experimental short-form audiovisual series filming in Houston, Texas is seeking performers and models for cinematic episodes created for social media and festival submissions. The project blends cinematic b-roll, spoken word, music, abstract performance, and expressive movement. Casting includes atmospheric performers, lifestyle characters, movement-based talent, detail models, performers with distinctive looks, and general background talent.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform in cinematic short-form scenes based on the production’s creative concepts.
- Participate in non-speaking, lifestyle, movement, atmospheric, or background scenes depending on casting.
- Follow creative direction during filming.
- Use natural expression and movement to support the visual storytelling.
- Maintain professionalism throughout the production.
Requirements
- All genders.
- Ages 18 and older.
- Open to all ethnicities.
- No acting experience required.
- Dancers and movement-based performers are welcome.
- Models with distinctive looks or striking aesthetics are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
- Currently unpaid.
- Selected talent receives reel footage and production credit.
