‘American Crime’ Season 2 is now casting new talent in Austin, Texas.
The second season of ‘American Crime’ takes place in Indianapolis, Indiana, where a public high school student accuses several members of a private school’s championship basketball team of sexually assaulting him and then taking photos of the incident and posting them online.
ABC’s television series American Crime is looking for NEW FACES to be Paid Background Extras on Thursday September 24, 2015 in Austin, Texas!
Casting directors are looking for poets, upscale theater patrons, and poetry slam attendees. Filming will take place on Thursday, September 24th in Austin, Texas.

The Background Roles we are Looking to Fill are:
Poetry Slam Poets and Poetry Slam Attendees- Male or Female, Ages 18-30, all ethnicities; looking for Austin hipster types, cultural artsy & stylish
Upscale Theater Patrons – Male and Female, Ages 18-60, all ethnicities; diverse crowd ranging from upscale wealthy types to LGBT couples/individuals, fans of theater and art
Filming Date: Thursday September 24, 2015
Filming Location: Austin, Texas
Filming Start Time: TBA (we do not have start times until the evening prior to filming)
Background Extras will be paid $64/8 hours guaranteed, plus overtime if filming goes past 8 hours.
