James Franco’s new movie ‘In Dubious Battle’ starring Selena Gomez is now casting extras in Yakima, Washington.
Casting directors in Yakima, Washington are now looking for background extras to work in the new James Franco movie, In Dubious Battle. According to reports, the Portland-based casting company “Extras Only” is looking for men with long beards to play apple pickers from the 1930’s for the movie called “In Dubious Battle” staring James Franco and Selena Gomez.
‘In Dubious Battle’ is set in a fictionalised valley in California, the story explores themes Steinbeck continued to develop: group behaviour, social injustice, man’s inhumanity to man. A labour conflict between migrant apple pickers and the local growers’ association is the backdrop against which Jim Nolan (Franco) becomes involved in the labour movement and rapidly matures as he learns what it means to do organisational fieldwork. Filming will take place on September 27th and September 28th.
According to Empire Online, the new upcoming feature film will feature Selena Gomez, Vincent D’Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston and Danny McBride. The movie is based on the John Steinbeck novel ‘In Dubious Battle’.
