Job Description

A paid OAC-granted short film is casting multiple actors for principal roles. The production is considering both ACTRA and non-union performers and is specifically seeking Persian, Arab, White, and mixed-race/ethnically ambiguous talent across several age ranges. Several roles require fluent Farsi, while others require fluent English. Selected performers will join a professionally produced short film project, with roles available for adults, seniors, and a young performer.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform the assigned scripted role for the short film.
• Attend scheduled production activities as required.
• Deliver dialogue naturally in the language specified for the role.
• Collaborate professionally with the director, cast, and production team.
• Arrive prepared and follow creative direction during filming.

Requirements

• Leily: Female, 35–49, Persian; fluent in Farsi and English.
• Ava: Female, 35–39, Persian; fluent in Farsi and English.
• Eric: Male, 40–45, Arab or White; fluent in English.
• Ellie: 12–15, mixed-race/ethnically ambiguous; fluent in English.
• Betty: Female, 60s, Persian; fluent in Farsi.
• Ibrahim: Male, 60s–70s, Persian; fluent in Farsi.
• ACTRA and non-union performers may apply.
