Kristian Richards

Kristian Richards is a New York-based actor and dancer currently pursuing a BFA in Dance through Fordham University and The Ailey School. Originally from Houston, Texas, Kristian’s foundation in classical ballet through Houston Ballet Academy has developed into a versatile performance practice spanning ballet, Horton, contemporary, West African dance, improvisation, and composition. Through her conservatory training and performance experience, Kristian has developed a strong connection to physical storytelling, character embodiment, musicality, and stage presence. Her dance education has provided him with numerous opportunities to explore character, intention, emotional expression, and narrative through movement, strengthening her ability to communicate authentically both physically and emotionally. As she expands into acting, Kristian brings the discipline, physical awareness, adaptability, and performance instincts developed through years of intensive dance training. She is particularly drawn to roles that challenge her physically and emotionally and allow her to explore complex characters through both movement and acting.
