As fall TV season’s first month comes to an end, early indicators are starting to pop up and show which are going to get cancelled in the next few months.
According to ratings and Twitter trends, audiences love Blindspot on NBC, Limitless, Life in Pieces, Code Black on CBS, and ABC’s Quantico. However, many people are still calling all of the new shows released this fall season as the least impressive season in recent years.
Well, here are a list of TV shows released this year that are on track to getting cancelled.

‘Grandfathered’ Fox

Grandfathered, previously titled Grandpa, is a series created by Daniel Chun and centeres around the life of a bachelor that finds out that he has a son and a granddaughter. The series features John Stamos as Jimmy Martino but, all of the camera angles in the world of John Stamos may not be able to save the TV series. Despite getting generally positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, according to reports, Grandfathered ratings is currently in last place with only 3.87 million viewers.

Any new show that has to face up against the NFL is going to have a tough time. That’s why ABC’s Blood & Oil is currently in trouble. The series follows a young couple who move to Rock Springs, North Dakota after the biggest oil discovery in American History. Currently, the series is in last place for ratings on a Sunday night. And things will probably only get worse as soon as The Walking Dead premieres.
‘The Player’ NBC
The Player which was previously known as Endgame is a TV series created by John Rogers and John Fox, starring Philip Winchester, Charity Wakefield, Damon Gupton, and Wesley Snipes. At of all of the Fall TV season’s new releases, The Player has some of the worst reviews. Rotten Tomatoes gives the show a 36% approval rating saying: “The Player‘s convoluted premise weighs down a game cast, bringing nothing original to the table”. But, it’s hard for NBC to compete with the critically acclaimed Shonda Rhimes series How To Get Away With Murder. Currently, The Player is last place on Thursday nights.
‘The Grinder’ Fox

Rob Lowe’s comedy about a crazy actor who assumes he can practice law because he plays one on TV is struggling to find an audience. Despite getting generally positive reviews from Rotten Tomatoes the show has struggled to move past 3 million viewers.
‘The Muppets’ ABC

The Muppets was one of the most hyped TV shows this fall season. But, a TV show targeted towards adults but featuring puppets has been something that audiences couldn’t get into. A show-within-a-show, The Muppets is set in Los Angeles and depicts the everyday personal and professional lives ofThe Muppets during production of Up Late with Miss Piggy; a fictional late-night talk show starring Miss Piggy and airing on the ABC network after Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Currently, The Muppets is ranked 16th out of 25 shows.
‘Minority Report’ Fox

Minority Report the TV spinoff of the critically acclaimed Tom Cruise movie has struggled to find people to watch the sci-fi drama. Rotten Tomatoes reports a 28% approval rating with an average rating of 5.4/10 based on 57 reviews. The website’s consensus reads, “Lacking either the action or the imagination of its big-screen predecessor, Minority Report is a pedestrian spinoff that fails to capture the vision of the film.” Since the show first aired, ratings have plummeted and by the third episode ratings dropped by over 1 million viewers.
