Amelia Breeden

A “southern belle” at heart, I graduated from Baton Rouge Magnet High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a 3.4 GPA. Immediately following, I moved to New York City. Here, I attended The New School for Performing Arts for two years, where I studied acting, playwriting, musical theatre technique, music performance, and dance. Simultaneously, I took classes on musical dance technique at Broadway Dance Center. I am currently on a break from my education as I focus on gathering real work experience. My last role was that of Jo in Little Women. Playing Jo taught me all about myself, helping me to grasp the role of emotion, rage, and strength while remaining tender and vulnerable. Soon after this production, I was featured as an extra for a film called Re-Election (2025) directed by Adam Saunders. Being on the set of this film gave me so much valuable insight into what film-making could be and was my first and most rewarding film experience. From overnight shoots to being sprayed with water, Re-Election helped inspire me to pursue film. The energy I experienced during filming is nothing like I’ve experienced before and I cannot wait to bring it to future projects. I might be a high soprano, but that doesn’t mean I live high strung. I am a dedicated cat mom, fierce friend, and dependable peer. I will never bat an eye at assisting someone and I firmly believe that if you have the ability to help, you are obligated to do so. I grew up taking care of wildlife and housepets, but I also have experience in gymnastics, ice-skating, horseback riding, and assorted accents! In addition to these attributes, I have a deep rooted passion for fashion and costuming. As an actress with over 11 years of stage experience, 12 of trained singing, and 10 of dance, I have grown to understand the importance of a true physical performance. From my years on the stage, I have strengthened my emotions, body language, and physicality to match the challenges of any role I am offered the opportunity to represent.
