Mayara Munhos

I am a journalist, media producer, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt dedicated to telling the stories behind the sport. I spent 8 years at ESPN Brasil, where I developed my career as a journalist covering sports and producing stories. During that time, I also published one of the first journalistic investigations addressing harassment within the Brazilian jiu-jitsu community. Today, I work as a UFC International Correspondent, and my work sits at the intersection of journalism, digital media, and athlete storytelling. I cover jiu-jitsu and MMA events, interview athletes, and produce media content for brands and organizations in the combat sports industry. I am also the founder of Jiu-Jitsu in Frames, a media production company focused on combat sports storytelling and brand media.
