Jennifer Johnson Story
About:
Proud member of The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
Also immediate decendant of:
Ohkay Owingeh Tewa Pueblo "San Juan Pueblo",
Oglala Lakota "Sioux", and I'm German (probably where the blue eyes come from).
At the age of twelve at a Native youth event an elder stopped me in my tracks and asked, "Can you see the future?!" I must have stood there frozen because she continued with, "You have blue eyes! In my tribe you're what we call a seer!"
I would never personally make that claim, but I do have deep spiritual Christian convictions and I try to use my gifts to love my family and build up the younger generations.
Growing up on our family's original land allotment in Oklahoma remains a deep-seated element of who I am.
Graduating from the University of Oklahoma's College of Architecture along with an Anthropology Minor set me on a path of adventure.
Deep personal loss, hardships, and heartache keep me grounded.
