Justin Bieber Opens Up About His Friend Killed in Paris Attacks

Justin Bieber shares a message about a friend and co-worker killed in Paris attacks.

Justin Bieber on Monday shared a message over social media that he is devastated by the death of Mercury Records’ Thomas Ayad, who was killed in the recent Paris attacks.

Ayad, an international product manager for Mercury, were among the group of people attending the Eagles of Death Metal concert when terrorists opened fire on the crowd on Friday night.

“He was part of my team for years and I wish I would’ve had more time to thank him,” Bieber said in a statement.

“This is an unspeakably appalling tragedy,” Universal Music Group Chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge said in a note to staff. “On behalf of everyone here at UMG, we extend our most profound sympathies to his parents and all of his friends and family.”

Over 129 people were killed in the attacks which has sparked a war and international outrage.
