That “DiCaprio Raped By a Bear” News Story is Fake!

Following a story that was raped by a bear that went viral, studio executives want you to know that DiCaprio was not raped by a bear.

According to report, the studio denies the bizarre report of bear-on-man action. In fact, DiCaprio does not get sexually violated by a bear in his upcoming movie  despite the story going viral on Tuesday.

Fox clarified in a statement that the bear is 1) a and 2) does not sexually assault DiCaprio.

“As anyone who has seen the movie can attest, the bear in the is a female who attacks Hugh Glass because she feels he might be threatening her cubs,” a Fox told EW.com in a statement. “There is clearly no scene with a bear.”

The report was published on the Drudge Report under the headline, “DiCaprio Raped by Bear in Fox Movie.”

“The bear flips Leo over and thrusts and thrusts during the explicit mauling,” the Drudge item reads, continuing, “He is raped — twice!”

The news report claims that the “explicit moment” in the movie has “caused maximum in early screenings,” adding that some some exited “when met the Grizzly of .”

In The Revenant, DiCaprio plays a hunter Hugh Glass, who's attacked by a bear and left for dead, leading him to seek revenge on the travelers who left him behind.
