Rene Toledo

Rene Toledo is an Afro Cuban American actor, singer, audio engineer, & music producer from Miami, Florida. Rene Toledo started his acting career as a lead actor in a national football commercial for Dos Equis that was watched & played throughout some of the biggest sports events in the USA. After that commercial, he was casted as "Carlos" in what is now the most watched Romanian made movie in Romania's history "Miami Bici". After "Miami Bici", he was casted as "Art" in the action movie "Miami Heat" that will be released soon. His parents were born in Cuba & fled to the United States in their 20's to escape the dictatorship. They met again in New York where they got engaged & married. Rene Toledo lived a troubled childhood surrounded by gangs & violence. He was going in & out of jail. Everybody lost hope in him except for his parents who kept fighting for him. They never gave up. Neither did Rene. He knew that he had to change or else he would be dead or in jail. His father booked him a plane ticket to Spain where he was living to get away from the neighborhoods in Miami. Thats where his life began to change. Rene was enrolled in music school where he learned music theory & music production. He then enrolled in SAE Institute in Amsterdam, Netherlands where he learned & graduated in audio engineering. He flew back to Miami, FL where he worked as an intern at South Beach Studios while also studying at Miami Dade College in Acting. He moved his way up the ladder through the recording studios where he ended up working at Gloria Estefan's studio as the main recording & mixing engineer. Rene Toledo is now a 7x Grammy nominated audio engineer in mixing & recording. Some of his credits include artists like Tony Bennett, Pharrell Williams, Pitbull, Iggy Pop, Marc Anthony, J Balvin, Gloria Estefan, Adam Lambert, & many more.
