Full Stop Productions is casting experienced Character/Mascot Performers and Character Handlers for a paid live entertainment opportunity in New York City. Performers will bring specialized characters to life while interacting with guests and creating an engaging experience. The production is also seeking handlers who can support performers, assist with guest interactions, and help operations run smoothly in a fast-paced live environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as a costumed character/mascot and remain in character during guest interactions.
- Deliver energetic physical performances in a specialized costume.
- Engage professionally and positively with guests.
- Character Handlers will support performers and assist with guest-facing interactions.
- Work closely with the event team to provide a smooth and memorable guest experience.
Requirements
- Character Performers must be 5’2″–5’6″ with a lean/athletic build to meet costume requirements.
- Strong physical performance skills and ability to remain in character.
- Comfortable interacting with guests while wearing a specialized costume.
- Previous mascot, character, theme park, theatrical, promotional, or live entertainment experience preferred.
- Character Handlers should be professional, reliable, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
- Previous experience supporting character performers, events, attractions, or live entertainment is preferred.
- Must be local to or able to work in New York City.
