Ronald McLamb

Born at Wheelus Air Force Base in Tripoli, Libya, Ron McLamb discovered his love for performing early in life. While attending Adams City High School in Colorado, he portrayed Curly in Oklahoma!, a role that helped spark a lifelong appreciation for the art of storytelling and character work. Following honorable service in the United States Army from 1976 to 1979, including assignments in Germany, Ron eventually returned to his passion for entertaining. He later trained at the Professional Santa Claus School in Denver and continued to study the craft under respected acting coaches Kasha Fauscett and Stephen Burhoe. Since relocating to New Mexico in 2019, Ron has become an active presence in the state’s thriving film and television industry, working on productions throughout Albuquerque and Santa Fe while continuing to develop as a character actor. His genuine personality, warmth, and distinctive look have made him a natural fit for roles requiring authenticity and heart. Beyond his work on screen, Ron has Iearned a reputation as one of New Mexico’s beloved professional Santas, bringing joy and wonder to children and families each holiday season. Whether portraying Santa Claus, stepping in front of the camera, or embracing new creative challenges, Ron approaches every opportunity with professionalism, dedication, and a sincere love for making people smile.
