Dancers of all experience levels are invited to audition for a professional holiday production of The Nutcracker. Auditions are open to children, teens, and adults, making it an excellent opportunity for aspiring dancers to participate in one of the season’s most beloved productions.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend the scheduled audition.
• Perform choreography as directed during the audition process.
• Participate in rehearsals and performances if selected.
• Work collaboratively with the artistic team and fellow dancers.
• Maintain professionalism throughout rehearsals and performances.

Requirements

• Open to dancers ages 7 through adults.
• No prior professional experience is required.
• Auditions are mandatory for all participants.
• Adults interested in participating may register without previous dance experience or an audition requirement, as specified by the production.
• Must register before attending auditions.

Job Description

Alpha Nova is now casting for a paid short film production seeking a lead role and professional dancers. The production is looking for dynamic performers who bring confidence, charisma, and strong dance ability to the screen.

The team is casting the role of Mira, a captivating and embodied lead character, as well as skilled professional dancers trained in high-energy performance styles. This project will film on select production days and offers paid opportunities for selected talent.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned role in the short film Alpha Nova

• Perform choreographed dance routines as required

• Take direction from the director and choreographer

• Deliver expressive, character-driven performances on camera

• Maintain professionalism and punctuality during filming

Requirements

Mira

• Mid-20s to 30s

• Trained dancer

• Outwardly confident, charismatic, and embodied presence

• Strong ability to command attention on camera

• Must have professional-level dance skills

Dancers

• Mid-20s

• Professional dancers trained in Pop, Heels, and/or Hip Hop

• Strong performance energy and stage presence

• Comfortable performing in a filmed production
