Michael Heymann

I am a 5’10” athletic, energetic Caucasian American actor based in Los Angeles, typically cast in roles ranging from early 40s to mid to late 50s. My casting sweet spot includes characters who are charming, commanding, fiery, and assertive — as well as vulnerable, comedic, and deeply protective. I’m often brought in to play the aggressive CEO, the devoted father, the broken man fighting to rebuild, or the calculating, sharp-edged, investigator, politician or medical professional. Recent commercial bookings include: Bioemblam, Dose, Avia Games, Capistrano Valley Toyota, Southern California Edison Casting director feedback has been consistently positive, often ending with, “We look forward to working with you again.” One of my favorite moments on set was when a director said, “Mike, thank you for being so professional.” I pride myself on being fully prepared, off-book, always a professional and deeply connected to the character and the work. My training has been rooted in lived experience as much as formal development. I began acting at 12 years old in theater and essentially grew up on stage, performing in major productions and competing in Drama and Shakespeare competitions. Theater is where I first learned discipline, timing, and presence. After five years working in front of the camera, I now feel equally at home on set and have grown tremendously through collaboration with professional production teams.
