Job Description
A short film production is seeking actors from all backgrounds, ages, and genders for future projects filming in New York City. Casting directors are committed to inclusive storytelling and strongly encourage performers from diverse communities to apply. This opportunity is open to both SAG Microbudget and non-union talent looking to gain experience and collaborate on independent film productions.
Job Responsibilities
- Audition for roles in upcoming short film projects
- Portray a variety of characters across different stories and genres
- Participate in rehearsals and filming as required
- Follow direction from the director and production team
- Collaborate professionally with cast and crew members
Requirements
- Open to actors of all backgrounds, ages, and genders
- Performers of all experience levels are welcome
- LGBTQ+ actors are strongly encouraged to apply
- BIPOC actors are strongly encouraged to apply
- Must be available to work in New York City when cast
- Professional attitude and willingness to collaborate
Compensation
- SAG Microbudget Agreement project

- Opportunity to build acting experience and screen credits
