Job Description

A psychological thriller film is seeking experienced actors for several supporting roles in an upcoming production titled The Tried. The story follows a wealthy middle-aged couple who are kidnapped and taken to an unknown location, where the lead character is subjected to a disturbing psychological and emotional ordeal that uncovers life-altering secrets.

The production is currently casting supporting roles and welcomes experienced performers with strong dramatic abilities. SAG-eligible actors are preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned characters in a dramatic psychological thriller production.
• Attend required script readings, rehearsals, coaching sessions, and production meetings.
• Collaborate with the director and creative team to develop character performances.
• Participate in wardrobe fittings, promotional photo shoots, and other production activities if required.
• Maintain availability for scheduled filming and rehearsals.

Requirements

Supporting Defense Attorney

• Male, age 35 and older.

Supporting Prosecutor

• Male or Female, age 40 and older.

Supporting Husband

• Male, age 40 and older.

Supporting Guard

• Male or Female, age 40 and older.

Additional Requirements:

• Recent headshot required.
• Contact information required.
• Short acting profile required.
• IMDb credits preferred.
• Acting reel preferred.
• SAG-eligible performers preferred but not required.
• Must be available for rehearsals, coaching sessions, and production requirements.
• Ability to work in a dramatic and emotionally intense production environment.

Compensation Details

• Supporting actor compensation ranges from $400–$500.
• Additional production activities may include rehearsals, wardrobe fittings, promotional photo shoots, and coaching sessions.
• Contract required for selected performers.
