‘Homeland’ Season 6 Will Film in New York City

Showtime’s hit TV  Homeland season 6 will in New York City.

Last week during the TCAs, announced  is returning for a sixth season that will be primarily set and filmed in , according to reports.

The show’s previous seasons filmed across the globe. Starting in Charlotte, then moving to Cape Town, South African and most recently, Berlin, .

“Homeland will be shot next year in City, in and around New York,” Showtime Networks president David Nevins said at the TCAs. “It will be set domestically. It will be set primarily in the New York are, but not exclusively.”

Showtime programming president Gary Levine added, “We are in awe of how [showrunner] Alex Gansa and his writing staff reinvent Homelandeach year. And I think it’s exciting to see what they’re going to do in bringing it back to the United States and reinvent it yet again.”
