Alyssa Ann

Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am a passionate actor, musician and creator, here to experience the joy of collaboration and creativity. I am based in Hong Kong but I can also be in Zurich, Switzerland; Vancouver Canada; or San Francisco, USA at appropriate times. I am, by blood, 1/4 Swiss and 3/4 Chinese. I am fluent in 3 languages, which include English, Cantonese and Mandarin, while I'm also experimenting with different English accents, I naturally talk with an American accent, I can properly do the High British accent and the "Hong Kong"/stereotypical Asian accent. A few special skills of mine include singing, where I am going to do my ABRSM Grade 8 exam by the end of this year. I also play the piano, guitar and ukulele intermediately and am interested in picking up new instruments as well. I am physically fit and I am able to take on active movement, I used to do Karate where I had gotten a blue belt before I decided to move onto things I was more passionate about at age 10. I have a basic background in acting, in and out of school, through school productions including both plays and musicals, as well acting classes on understanding and channelling a character, alogn with small classes on technique and direction and a musical production outside of school. I am constantly trying my best to find ways to improve and learn from acting. I had also done a few musicals recently, acting as a main character in my school production, and as a side lead in an local community production. I plan to continue along this path and audition for more local theatre productions. I really look forward to working with everyone, my excitement and love for acting comes from all of this collaborative passion of everyone on a team, the joy of working on a team is what seriously cultivates the magic and power of filmmaking and it is what fuels me as a creative to keep trying and keep on doing what I love.
