Job Description

A documentary production is casting a child actor to portray a younger version of a key figure in a powerful biographical story. This acting opportunity is part of a documentary exploring the life journey of an established author and their experience immigrating to Canada at a young age. The production is seeking a talented young performer who can bring authenticity and emotional depth to the role.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray the character of Young Kern in documentary recreation scenes
• Follow direction from the director and production team
• Participate in scheduled filming sessions
• Deliver natural and believable on-camera performances
• Collaborate professionally with cast and crew

Requirements

• Male child actor, playing age 11–12
• Dark complexion
• Slender build
• Short hair preferred
• Non-union talent welcome
• Must be based in or able to work in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
• Acting experience is a plus but not required
